When you work with us, you may be able to earn extra money through different types of incentives. These are added on top of your regular pay.
Hourly Incentive
Some shifts offer an additional amount per hour, on top of your regular hourly rate.
If a shift includes an hourly incentive, you will see it in the shift details section in the app.
Example:
Hourly rate: $15/hour
Incentive: $2/hour
Total pay rate: $17/hour
These extra earnings are usually included with your regular shift payment. In some cases, they may be paid separately.
Shift Incentive
A shift incentive is a flat bonus that you receive for completing the entire shift.
If a shift includes this incentive, it will be shown in the shift details section in the app.
Example:
Hourly rate: $15
Shift length: 10 hours
Regular earnings: $150
Flat bonus: $20
Total earnings: $170
This bonus is usually paid with your regular earnings, but may occasionally be sent separately.
Multi-Shift Incentive
Some incentives require you to complete a set number of shifts to earn a bonus.
These may:
Have a time limit (for example, within 30 days or within a specific month)
Apply only to certain companies or types of shifts
You can track your progress in the Incentives tab in the app. It will show something like:
3/5 shifts completed
(meaning you must complete all 5 shifts to receive the bonus)
Payment for multi-shift incentives is sent as a separate one-time payment after you complete the final required shift.
Overtime
When working shifts through Traba, you do not automatically earn overtime pay after 40 hours per week. Any hours over 40 will normally still be paid at your regular hourly rate.
However, some companies do offer overtime pay if you work more than 40 hours per week with them.
If overtime applies:
It will be paid separately
You will usually receive it the week after your regular payment (typically on Wednesdays)
If you’re unsure whether a company offers overtime, please ask your on-site supervisor or contact support.
