I haven't been paid for a shift — how do I report missing pay?

If you completed a shift and haven't received payment, here's how to report it:

Step 1: Check your payment timeline

  • Standard Pay takes 2–3 business days after your shift is processed.

  • QuickPay arrives the same day your shift is processed.

  • Event shifts may take 3–5 business days.

  • If you're within this window, please wait before submitting a ticket.

  • Instant Pay: If you’re eligible for Instant Pay, funds will be available immediately after the timesheet is processed. Note that Instant Pay doesn’t bypass the need for timesheet submission and approval.

Step 2: Check that your shift shows as "Complete" in the app If your shift still shows as "In Progress" or has not been marked complete, the payment has not yet been initiated. Contact support if it's been over 24 hours since your shift ended. If the shift shows as "Complete" but the business has not yet submitted the timesheet, payment may still be delayed. Confirm timesheet submission with your on-site supervisor.

What if I didn’t clock in or out?

If you couldn’t clock in or out, gather proof of your hours (e.g., photos of the signed timesheet) and submit a time correction form.

Step 3: Submit a Missing Pay ticket If the timeline has passed and you still haven't been paid:

  1. Open the Traba app → tap the chat icon.

  2. Select "Earnings or pay issues" from the menu.

  3. Provide: shift date, company name, shift time, and the amount you believe is missing.

Common reasons pay may appear missing:

  • Your payment method is outdated or unlinked — check Settings → Payments.

  • The payment shows "Deposited" but your bank hasn't posted it yet (allow 1–3 extra bank days).

  • A time adjustment was made to your hours — check the app for any adjustment notifications.

  • Your shift had a timesheet that required employer sign-off, which may delay processing.
