Background checks are required before you can start working shifts on Traba. Most checks are completed within 1–3 business days, but in some cases they can take longer.
Why might my background check be delayed?
Your name is very common, which can require additional verification
There are records in multiple counties or states that need to be searched
The background check provider is experiencing high volume
Your information (name, date of birth, SSN) could not be verified — double-check that everything was entered correctly in the app
What should I do while I wait?
You can complete the rest of your profile, review available shifts, and watch the in-app training videos while your check is being processed. This means you'll be ready to book a shift the moment your check clears.
What if it's been more than 5 business days?
Contact Traba Support through the app. Have your full name and the email address associated with your account ready so we can look into it quickly.
