Every shift is different, but here are general guidelines to help you prepare.
Always bring:
A valid government-issued photo ID
Your fully charged phone with the Traba app installed (you'll need it to clock in and out)
Comfortable, work-appropriate clothing
Water and any snacks or meals you may need — many warehouse and industrial sites don't have on-site food options
Footwear
Most shifts require closed-toe shoes. Many warehouse and industrial shifts require steel-toed boots. Check the specific shift requirements in the app before arriving — footwear requirements are listed on the shift detail page.
Clothing
Avoid loose clothing or open-toe shoes at industrial sites
Some businesses require high-visibility vests — these are usually provided on-site, but confirm in the app
Dress in layers if working in a cold storage or outdoor environment
Shift-specific requirements
Always read the full shift description in the app before your first day. Businesses can list specific equipment, certifications, or dress code requirements that are unique to their site.
If you're unsure what to bring, you can check the shits notes and more specifically the shifts attire notes or contact the support team through the chat in the app.
