What happens if a business changes shift details after I've signed up?

Occasionally, a business may need to update shift details after workers have already claimed it. Here's what to expect.

What can change?

  • Start or end time

  • Shift location (address)

  • Role or tasks required

  • Pay rate (in rare cases)

Will I be notified?

Yes. If a business makes a change to a shift you're booked on, you will receive a push notification and an in-app alert with the updated details. Always make sure notifications are enabled for the Traba app.

What if I can no longer make the shift due to the change?

If the business has made a significant change (such as a location or time change), you may cancel the shift without it counting against your attendance record. The change must be material — minor updates may still count as a standard cancellation if you choose to drop the shift.

If you're unsure whether a change qualifies, contact Traba Support before cancelling.

What if the pay rate changed?

You will always be paid the rate displayed at the time of the change confirmation. Review updated shift details carefully before confirming you still plan to attend.
