If your pay doesn't match what you expected, here's what to do.
First, check the following:
Did the shift run for the full scheduled time, or was it cut short? See: If my shift is cut short do I still get the full shift pay.
Was there an adjustment applied? See: What is an adjustment?
Are you on the standard payment timeline, or is the payment still processing? See: Payment Processing Times.
Did overtime rules affect your rate? See: How Overtime Pay is Calculated.
Are there any incentives or fees you weren't aware of? See: Incentives and What Is the ICBA Membership Fee?
Was your timesheet submitted on time? Missing timesheets can block payment until received. Workers should check with their on-site supervisor to confirm submission, as businesses submit weekly totals, meaning daily breakdowns in the app may not match individual workdays.
Were your clock-in and clock-out times accurate? Confirm attendance records to avoid discrepancies. Use Paylocity or the on-site kiosk to log your hours, as these are the primary clock-in/out methods. Hours recorded in Paylocity can also be synced to the app.
Could there have been a reverse payment or deduction from a prior overpayment?- Are your hours missing entirely? Hours typically appear after the business submits weekly timesheets. Verify your total weekly hours rather than relying on daily breakdowns.
If you've checked the above and still believe there's an error:
Go to the Payments tab in the app
Find the shift in question and tap on it for a detailed breakdown
Contact Traba Support with the shift date, location, the amount you received, the amount you expected, and the exact clock-in and clock-out times along with total hours worked.
Our team will review the shift record and, if an error is confirmed, issue an adjustment to correct your pay.
How long does a review take?
Most payment disputes are reviewed within 2–5 business days. To avoid future issues, confirm attendance records, review weekly hours during the review window (where applicable), and promptly report discrepancies to your supervisor or Traba support. W-2 payroll is processed midweek, with paystubs visible shortly before Friday payday. Bank holidays may cause a one-business-day delay. Additionally, workers can use the Monday–Tuesday review window to verify their hours in the app before payroll is processed, ensuring accuracy before payday.
