Traba uses GPS to verify your location at shift start and end. If the app isn't recognizing that you're at the right location, try the following.
Check your location permissions
iOS: Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Traba → Set to "While Using the App" or "Always"
Android: Go to Settings → Apps → Traba → Permissions → Location → Set to "Allow all the time" or "Allow only while using the app"
Toggle GPS off and on
Sometimes GPS needs to be reset. Turn your phone's location off, wait 10 seconds, then turn it back on.
Move outdoors or near a window
GPS accuracy drops significantly indoors or in basements. If possible, step outside or near a window to get a stronger signal.
Check for app updates
Make sure you're running the latest version of the Traba app. Outdated versions can have GPS bugs that have since been fixed.
If you're on-site but the app still says you're in the wrong location
This can happen in large industrial facilities or complex building layouts. Contact Traba Support and notify the on-site supervisor — they can often confirm your presence manually. Do not leave the site or start work without resolving the clock-in issue.
