Check your internet connection
A weak or unstable connection is the most common cause of the app failing to load. Make sure you're connected to Wi-Fi or have a strong mobile data signal. If your connection is poor, try moving to a different location or switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
Force close and reopen the app
Fully closing the app (not just minimizing it) and reopening it resolves most temporary crashes.
iOS: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and swipe the Traba app card away
Android: Tap the square/recent apps button and swipe the Traba app away
Then reopen the app from your home screen.
Restart your phone
If force closing doesn't help, restart your phone completely. This clears background processes that can interfere with apps loading correctly.
Update the app
An outdated version of the Traba app may have bugs that have since been fixed. Check for an available update:
iOS: Open the App Store → Tap your profile icon → Scroll to see pending updates → Update Traba if available
Android: Open the Google Play Store → Tap your profile icon → Manage apps & device → Update Traba if available
Free up storage space
If your phone's storage is nearly full, apps can crash or fail to load. Check your available storage and delete unused apps, photos, or files if needed.
iOS: Go to Settings → General → iPhone Storage
Android: Go to Settings → Storage
Clear the app cache (Android only)
On Android, a corrupted cache can cause the app to behave unexpectedly.
Go to Settings → Apps → Traba → Storage → Clear Cache
This does not delete your account or any personal data.
Reinstall the app
If none of the above steps work, uninstall the Traba app and reinstall it fresh from the App Store or Google Play. Your account and shift history are saved to your account — you will not lose any data by reinstalling.

If the app is still crashing after trying all of the above, contact Traba Support through our website or by email. When you reach out, please include:
Your device model (e.g. iPhone 14, Samsung Galaxy S23)
Your operating system version (e.g. iOS 17, Android 14)
A brief description of what happens when the app crashes — does it freeze on a specific screen, or close immediately on opening?
If you have an upcoming shift and cannot access the app, contact Traba Support immediately so we can help you clock in and make sure you are not marked as a no-show.
