To change your payment method, first, click on the "Payments" section of your Profile.
And then click on Payment Methods
Click on "View payments" and verify your phone number
💡Tip: if you don't receive the code, click "I no longer have access to this phone number" and the code will be sent to your email.
Then click on the person icon:
💡Tip: If you don't see the person icon, check your display settings. For iOS: click "Settings" > "Display & Brightness" > Change the "Display Zoom" View from "Larger Text" to "Default."
Scroll down to “Payout details” and click on “Traba”:
Click on the pencil ✏️ to change your payment method
Note that changes like editing bank details must be done directly in Stripe due to security policies.
You have now set up your payment method!
If you encounter issues, contact Stripe support for assistance as Traba does not have access to modify payment details.
Troubleshooting
Having trouble updating your payment method?
"I tried multiple times, and it still didn't update.": Each attempt may have generated a separate verification code. Use only the most recent code sent to your phone. If you're still stuck, click "I no longer have access to this phone number" to receive the code via email instead.
"I don't see the option to change my payment": Make sure your Traba app is updated to the latest version. Also check your display zoom settings (iOS: Settings → Display & Brightness → Display Zoom → Default).
"I can't log into Stripe": Traba cannot access your Stripe account on your behalf. Contact Stripe support directly at stripe.com/support.
⚠️ Important: If you change your payment method while a payment is already processing, that payment will still go to your previous account. New payments initiated after the change will go to your updated account. If your old card or account is no longer active, contact support so we can help redirect your pending payment.
