What is Quick Pay?
Quick Pay is a feature that allows Traba workers to be paid as quickly as 30 minutes after the completion of a shift. After enrolling for Quick Pay and adding an eligible payment method to your account, you will be ready to start collecting your earnings as soon as you clock-out!
Payments processed before enabling Quick Pay will still follow the standard timeline of 2–3 business days.
How to Enable Quick Pay
To activate Quick Pay, follow these steps:
Open the Traba app.
Navigate to Profile → Payment → Quick Pay.
Enable the Quick Pay option. Once enabled, future payments for eligible shifts will be processed through Quick Pay. Note that enabling Quick Pay after a payment has already been processed will not affect that payment; it will still follow the Standard Pay timeline.
Who is eligible for Quick Pay?
To use Quick Pay, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Your account must be in good standing and meet the platform’s requirements for Quick Pay access.
You must use a bank or payment method that supports Quick Pay. If you switch to a new bank or card, it must also be Quick Pay–eligible to continue using the feature.
Maintaining eligibility requires avoiding actions such as no-shows, late cancellations, or shift abandonment.
My payment method is not eligible for quick pay. Can I change it?
At this time, Quick Pay only works using Debit Cards at participating banks. If your current payment method is not eligible, you can replace by clicking on “Change Payment method” inside the Quick Pay menu:
Once Quick Pay is enabled on my account, will I receive my earnings immediately after the completion of every shift?
Once Quick Pay is turned on, all future payments will be transferred to your debit card minutes after you clock out of your shift.
If a payout fails and funds are returned, the reprocessed payment will follow the Quick Pay timeline if the feature is enabled. Otherwise, it will follow the standard processing time.
Quick Pay may be disabled for an individual shift if:
Payments processed before enabling Quick Pay will follow the Standard Pay timeline.
Traba has disabled Quick Pay for this shift (e.g. a complex shift or a shift that requires verification with the business partner after the shift is completed)
The shift is less than 4 hours.
You did not log a required break for this shift or your logged break length does not match what is expected for this shift.
You arrived late to the shift or you clocked out much later than the shift was expected to end.
The earnings received for this shift would cause you to earn more than $300 via Quick Pay in a single day.
If Quick Payment is disabled for one or more of these reasons, your payment for the shift will revert to the traditional 2-day bank transfer method.
Is there a cost for using Quick Pay?
Yes, using Quick Pay incurs a fee of 1.5% of the total transferred amount or $0.50, whichever is greater. This will automatically be removed from your payout.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Why is my payment processed through Standard Pay instead of Quick Pay? If your account is not eligible for Quick Pay or if the payment was processed before enabling Quick Pay, it will follow the Standard Pay timeline.
Will enabling Quick Pay speed up a payment already processed? No. Enabling Quick Pay after a payment has been processed will not change that payout. Quick Pay must be enabled before processing to affect the payment’s speed.
I no longer want to use Quick Pay, can I turn it off?
You can revert back to the traditional 2-day payment method at any time (even mid-shift) by navigating to your Payments page in your Profile and disabling Quick Pay.
