Businesses on Traba can now upload videos for workers to watch prior to them accepting their shift. These videos can be used for training workers, go over key requirements such as attire or safety instructions, introduce your company and your values, or give further detail on the role and arrival instructions.

You have two options when uploading videos: you can post a video that every worker has to view regardless of role, or you can upload a video that only specific workers in certain roles or shifts has to view. You also have the option to have multiple videos required for a shift.

Upload a Training Video

To upload a training video, go to the Account Settings tab in your business portal.

  • Click the Training Videos tab and then click upload video in the top right.

  • Name your training video and choose whether you want to make this training video required for all of your future shifts. If you choose required, every worker will have to view this video before signing up for your shifts regardless of the role or shift. Then click select video to upload

  • Once you have double checked your choices, click confirm upload.

Add a Training Video While Booking a Shift

When booking a shift, you will have the option to attach any required training videos to your shift. After you enter the shift details in the first part of the booking flow, you will be taken to the workers page. At the bottom of this page you will see "What training videos are required?"

  • Here you will see the example training video that was uploaded in the above section. This video is designated as a company wide video so every worker that works with the company will have to watch it.

  • To add another video to this shift request, click Upload New video

  • Click Confirm Upload and then check the box to include this video.

  • Click continue to proceed with the rest of the shift booking flow.
