If you arrive at the shift location on time and get clocked in, Traba guarantees a minimum pay of 4 hours. If the shift is cut short, you will be paid only for your time worked, or 4 hours, whichever is greater, not the full shift pay. Please note, if the business states a different minimum, then we will follow that specifically stated minimum. If you are late to the shift, then this minimum doesn't apply and you will be paid for your hours worked only. Additionally, to qualify for the 4-hour minimum pay, "active work participation" is required. This entails actively being on the production floor and performing your assigned duties. It is also important to ensure that early dismissals are properly documented by supervisors on the timesheet to align with Traba’s policies.
Additionally, payment is only provided for shifts that you are officially signed up for and that appear on your schedule. If you attend a job that was not on your schedule, you will not be compensated. If you arrive on time for your scheduled shift and are placed on standby as a backup, you will still be paid.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the 4-hour minimum pay:
You must arrive on time and actively participate in the assigned duties during your shift.
Supervisors must ensure that early dismissals are documented on the timesheet.- If you are placed on standby as a backup for your scheduled shift, you are still eligible for payment.
The entire shift time is a best estimate made by the business posting the shift and it is subject to change. Similarly, it is often possible that a shift goes on longer than posted on the app and in this scenario, you will earn more than the full shift pay. Supervisors must approve and accurately record all worked hours, ensuring the timesheet reflects the actual start and end times of the shift for proper payment.
