Why did I get waitlisted on the shift even when I tried to sign up right away?

Nearly all shifts posted on our platforms are open to sign-ups on a first-come-first-served basis. It is also worth noting that we have tens of thousands of workers signed up on our app in every city we operate in.

Additionally, errors such as encountering a blank page or receiving an error message like "error please try again" may occur when shifts are already full. This is especially common for invited shifts, where businesses may invite more workers than there are available spots.

Troubleshooting Steps

If you encounter errors when signing up for shifts, try the following steps:

  1. Refresh the Shift List: Shifts fill up quickly, so refreshing the list ensures you see the most up-to-date availability.

  2. Keep Trying: High demand for shifts means errors are common, but persistence often pays off. Continue checking for new shifts as they are posted.

  3. Check Your Email: If your account is under review, look for an email from Traba regarding your background check. Follow the instructions provided to resolve the issue.

Given that, there is high demand for the jobs posted on our platform and sometimes get filled seconds after being posted. So it is possible that you tap on a notification fairly quickly but still miss being able to sign up. While we understand that can be frustrating, it is inevitable that it'll happen every now and then.
