An account Suspension is a temporary lock of your Traba account. The suspension will last 7 days. During this time, you will not be able to sign-up or attend shifts on Traba.

During a suspension, all scheduled shifts will be canceled, and you will not be able to attend them.

An account Ban is a permanent block of your account and will not be undone once placed.

If you arrive late to a shift, inform the on-site supervisor and request that they notify their Traba partner. Check in with the supervisor upon arrival to adjust your time. Note that sites can reject late arrivals, which will be recorded as a late rejection rather than a no-show.

If a business cancels a shift or informs workers not to show up due to operational issues, the shift should be canceled in the system and will not affect your metrics.

There are various reasons that may lead to suspension: Consistently canceling shifts late, even though not all late cancellations lead to immediate suspension, increases the risk of penalties.

Late cancellations are defined as those made within 18 hours of the shift start time, which can negatively impact your account metrics.

  • Failure to attend a scheduled shift without prior notification (referred to as a 'No Show')

  • Late cancellations of shifts (A cancellation within 18 hours of the shift start)

  • Repeated tardiness to shifts

  • Leaving a shift without informing on-site supervisors- Frequently canceling or modifying scheduled shifts without valid reasons

  • If marked as a no-show in error, you can provide working hours and supervisor details to resolve the issue

  • Valid documentation, such as a doctor’s note, may help remove penalties for no-shows

Additionally, if you are consistently late more than three times within a 30-day timeframe, your account may be banned permanently from Traba's services.

By understanding and following Traba's policies, you can effectively manage your shifts and maintain a positive standing. Ensure timely communication for cancellations, avoid no-shows, and follow best practices to optimize your work experience.

Traba reserves the right to suspend or ban users for displaying inappropriate behavior during shifts or for violating the terms of service. Traba also provides a transparent process for resolving suspensions, including appeals and review of documented emergencies, ensuring fairness in account management.
